Since I was a little girl I always had a passion towards dog.
As part of my career in the industry I have completed an assistant dog grooming course and worked in a dog grooming salon,
and then went on to do an additional experience where I went to volunteer in a dog rescue on an Island of Greece.
When I returned I decided to expand
my knowledge and work as a kennel assistant in a veterinary clinic.
After experimenting with different paths I decided to undertake dog walking services by opening my own business and offering walking, home visits and pet sitting services to people who need a helping hand to care for their pets.

A relaxed walking atmosphere ideal for all kinds of dogs, but especially those that are rescues, older, less social, or just love to have a little bit

A wonderful opportunity for socialisation, behaviour learning, and confidence building. A very wise decision to spend time in the company of fellow well-behaved dogs!
Home Visits
A stress-free alternative to a cattery or other boarding options, we make sure that your pets are fed, watered, and cared for. We look after cats, hamsters, and birds too.
PET SITTING
This option is a great choice for pets to maintain their routine.
We will follow your regime and routines, spend time with your pet and offer our care and love.

FAQ's
Will I get to meet my dog walker before the walks start?
Yes. We always set up a one-time complimentary consultation to introduce you to your walker and to review your detailed client profile before the dog walks start.
Will I have the same walker each day?
We will match you with a dedicated dog walker. You will then have the same dog walker each day unless there are dates when they are unavailable. In this situation, we will contact you to let you know we need to set up an alternate walker to fill in for your dedicated walker. We will also set up a practice walk for the alternate walker to join your dedicated dog walker to introduce the dog and show them how they do everything.
Will my dog walker come at the same time each day?
We ask you to choose a two hour arrival timeframe during which your walker will come each day rather than coming at a set time.
Where do you walk my dog?
We walk each client dog in your own neighbourhood.
Are you insured and bonded?
Yes. Everyone working with Woofing Around Dog is insured and DBS checked.
What is your cancellation policy?
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel with more than 24 hours' notice from the earlier part of your timeframe, then we will be happy to credit the walk(s). Walks cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice will not be refunded as we will also have to pay your dog walker.
Can you administer medication to my pets while I am away?
Yes. As long as you let us know of your pets' individual needs when you first contact us.
Is my pet suitable for home visits?
Home Visits are ideal for puppies and older dogs where dog walking may not be suitable. If you do have an older dog or a puppy that has just received vaccinations, you could choose to incorporate very short walks adapted to their needs. We also offer home visit for cats, birds and guinea pig.
What are the different lengths of pet sitting visits that you offer?
We offer pet sitting visits of 30, 45, and 60 minute durations. We also offer extended pet sitting of 2 hours or more. When caring for clients with dogs when their family is away, we require a minimum of 3 pet-sitting visits a day for their safety and comfort. When caring for clients' cats and/or guinea pig when their family is away, we require a minimum of once daily visits.
